Gautier Dooghe began his violin musical studies at 6 at the « Conservatoire national de Région » of Lille (France). He obtained successively and unanimously the gold medal and the price of improvement in the class of Yolande Leroy. In 1997, he won the 1st price in Chamber Music Duo at the Competition of Radio-France (Tournoi Royaume de la Musique).
In 1997, he integrated the class of Boris GARLITZKY, and Jean-Jacques KANTOROW into the “Conservatoire National Supérieur” of Paris. He received in 2000 the first award in Violin, as well as Chamber Music.
Since 2003, he is the concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of Douai (France) under the Direction of Jean-Jacques KANTOROW, and with whow he performs regurlarly as a soloist.
In 2009, he set up the « Ensemble Cordes 21 », a chamber orchestra in which he is the violin-solo and the Artistic Director.
He is currently violin teacher at the “Conservatoire de Musique” of Roubaix and the “Conservatoire” of Douai (France).
